HDFC Bank Sri Lanka was awarded a Compliance Award in the State Owned Banks category at the recently held TAGS Awards 2022 organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka).

The annual Awards ceremony recognizes responsible and integrated reporting by corporates of all sectors reflecting effectiveness in communication of their financial and non-financial information to stakeholders and strict compliance with legislative requirements and accepted accounting best practices. Overall, TAGS awards promotes transparency, corporate governance, sustainability and social responsibility, and thus the accolade acts as an endorsement on HDFC Bank’s reporting and communicating capabilities fueled by good governance. 

Over the past three decades, HDFC Bank has greatly contributed towards empowering socio-economic standards of rural and low income masses, greatly assisting to uplift their quality of life by cascading the hope of permanent shelter through housing finance. The bank intends to continue its role in catering to various population segments with different financial requirements even in the challenging future ahead.
