Tissamaharama branch was refurbished and re-opened at the same location at No.71, Main Street, Tissamaharama with the objective of providing efficient and friendly service to its customers with more sophisticated facilities.

Expressing views at the opening ceremony of the branch the Chairperson stated that the bank has performed well despite the COVID 19 crisis and successful implementation of the Government’s Housing Policy stands a key responsibility of the bank.

Speaking at the occasion, the CEO and the General Manager - Mr. Palitha Gamage said that the total deposit base of the bank was expanded in 2020 and emphasized that the branches will have to concentrate more on adding value towards selling products to remain competitive.

Kalinda, Branch Manager - Mr. Nishaman Anuradha, Manager Business Development Mr.Kamal Perera, Manager – Technical Mrs. Niriupa Wijesiri, Managers of the other branches in the Southern Region, a number of staff members and customers of HDFC also attended the occasion of opening the refurbished branch at Tissamaharama. 

The branch was first opened 07 years ago as the 33rd branch of the HDFC Bank.
